Thank you to everyone for the support of Building Education and our mission to end extreme poverty by building 1,000 schools that spark a legacy of change!
We had a great time at the event and we hope you did as well! We had over 75+ attendees and raised over $7,000.
After an exciting year of events, Summer Splash was all about giving back to our BE Community in a fun and exciting way, while making an impact by making strides towards our fourth school building project.
Thank you to our Sponsors and Supporters, Green Ferns Organic Skincare, The Midnight Painter Yengiang Nguyen, Vinh Nguyen Photography, Dr. Charles Lee from L-Plastic Surgery, Metadata, West Cal Inc., Kenny Heller, Vanesa Altavas-Cheng, Nico Atavas, Pablo Wong, and Sean McCarthy. Big shoutout to C&H Catering for the delicious gourmet lunch, to Shoreline Lake Boathouse for hosting our event, and the amazing band, Steve Robertson, Paul Contos, and Dr. Neil Adler.

For our 4th school building project, we are in need of fundraising $25,000 to rebuild the school.
At the event, we are grateful that we were able to raise $7,000.
We are still in need of $18,000 to rebuild the school.
This school, Shree Shuvakanya Basic School will help over 100 students in the local village to have access to education after this building was damaged from the 2015 earthquake in Nepal.
It is located in the Sindhapalchuck District, one of the most severely hit areas in Nepal. We currently have collaboration with the local Nepalese government, a local partner NGO, and the community has collectively contributed $3,000 of their savings to start the building of this project.
Labor will be provided by the village community themselves.

Currently, the community suffers from food insecurity as most are farmers that want a better future for their children. Many children walk over 2 hours to get to the next school with many children dropping out of school due to the distance, thus repeating the cycle of poverty.
WE GREATLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!
Please help us to meet our goal of building this 4th school and raising $25,000.
Your donation of just $50 can go a long way!!!
Together, we can meet our goal of building our 5th school this year and helping over 500+ children in Nepal!!
